I took a break from the menu planning last week and it was a disaster. I had to actually plan the meals for the latter part of the week. So back to planning from the beginning. (I am actually using a number of the meals my mom suggested in the last post.)
Monday: Baked Breaded chicken, oven fries (I have been meaning to try baking sweet potato fries, or maybe beet fries), yellow wax beans
Tuesday: Guide Night, soup or frozen dinner
Wednesday: Spaghetti & meat sauce & garlic bread & salad
Thursday: Pizza (my mom usually uses a pita and sauce and veggies for her quick pizza) add some salad or raw veggies and dip and you have a great meal.
Friday: BBQ Steak, baked potatoes, salad, corn
Saturday: Get Anthony to make Sweet and Sour Meatballs (he does a much better job than I do.)
Some other suggestions my mom had:
Baked talipia fish with oven fries
Slow cooker baked beans & porridge bread
Lamb medallions with mashed potatoes and peas
Bbq spare ribs and rice
