In Which I Whine About Being Sick

Of course when I decided to write everyday I didn’t think that this cold would knock me for such a loop.   I didn’t sleep well, Quinlan didn’t sleep well, and we both coughed all night.  Aidan woke up at 5:30 am and Quinlan decided it was time to get up. Aidan was convinced to stay in bed with me and went back to sleep.

Thank god Anthony decided to stay home.  I am not sure how I would have coped at all with the two sick boys and feeling like I have been run over by a truck.  Oh and guess what?  Aidan’s preschool called to cancel for Wednesday so they can disinfect the classrooms.  It seems there have been some confirmed cases of the flu.  Just to be clear, I don’t think we have H1N1, but we certainly have a bad cold. Lots of fun in the Floyd household right now.

That is all for now.  We will see what tomorrow brings.

  • You must be a fan of A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh…or not…I’m assuming that because of how you named your last two posts. I love Milne’s WTPooh.

Sorry to hear you are all sick. The only thing worse than having sick kids is being a sick mom trying to care for those kids. Sending you healthy vibes.

Hopefully you all recover quickly. Thinking about you all.

Do you have head colds as well? That is the sure sign that it is not H1N1. If it went straight to your lungs with ache, fever and exhaustion it may well be H1N1. My prayers are with you all, wish I could do more. Love you.
