Pure Dead Magic

This weekend I reread “Pure dead Magic” by Debi Gliori. I must admit that I was looking for a quick and easy read and I decided that I didn’t want to reread the T’witch series right now. I was in the mood for some magic, monsters a little intrigue and some good old web action. Pandora, Titus and Damp don’t want another Nanny, and what normal Nanny would want to be a part of a household that included a cranky crocodile, a griffin, a yeti, a slowly thawing cryogenically preserved ancestor, and a mother training to be a witch? Well a recovering witch herself might. How will Pandora and Titus survive the calamities that they are presented with? How will they get their kidnapped father back? How will they get their accidentally shrunken baby sister Damp out of the world wide web?

One of the things I like best about this book is the interaction between the siblings. It is very true to life in an unreal and fantastical setting. I also like that it is a good and fairly short read. I can’t wait till my son is old enough to read this to.

Short and sweet. 🙂
