I know I have been harping on twitter and facebook for comments for a particular post “Old Toy Trains, Little Toy Tracks.” I still need comments. I really want to win this contest. To be honest it isn’t only for the money. I liked having a blogging job. I liked feeling like I was able to use my words to help contribute.
When I started being a paid blogger, a paid writer, I was actually a little astonished. I was being paid to write. I was building a portfolio. I found something that I didn’t know I wanted. Who would have ever thought that I would become a writer?
This is why I need all my friends and family to comment on my post and if I get into the finals to vote for me in an online poll. This includes all of you who don’t have kids, or ever comment on my blog. It is really easy, all you need is your name and an email. The comment can also be really short like: “nice post Gwen” or “I like trains too” or “Isn’t that a cute picture of Aidan.” I need them by the 30th November.
