I think I am actually in my 5th week of menu planning and I am very happy with my progress. There was only one meal that wasn’t on the plan and that was because I didn’t want to turn on the oven when I forgot to get the roast in the slow-cooker. I am thinking about trying to lose a few pounds and I know that the meal planning will help me. I don’t think that I have already lost any but that is more because of the three and a bit weeks of birthdays, Easter and lots of sugar. I am proud of myself and I think Anthony is pleased because I have not asked him in 4 weeks “What do you want for dinner?” 🙂 So on to the menu!
Monday: Slow-cooker Roast beef and vegetables. Rolls.
Tuesday: Pasta and a meat sauce. Salad.
Wednesday: Sausages, garlic mashed potatoes.
Thursday: Very Garlicy Slow-cooker chicken. (It sounded so good.)
Friday: Anthony’s Choice. 😉
Saturday: BBQ’d Chicken, baked potatoes, corn.
Sunday: Sweet and Sour Meatballs (Anthony’s domain) rice and veggies. (We are going to try them in the slow-cooker instead of the oven.)
If anyone wants any of the recipes leave me a comment and I will update the post with them. Oh and if anyone has a good recipe for baked beans I would love a link in the comments.
I wish I am ambitious like u…been so lazy lately…lol
Everything looks very yummy! I can’t function without my menu plan anymore.
I’ll send you a recipe for baked beans when I get home. I think that you like the ones that I used to make.
