The first two weeks of October this year Anthony and Aidan and I went back home to Nova Scotia and visited our families. It was the first time that Aidan has been old enough to really interact with his cousins. I loved the way that Aidan decided right away that his cousins were the greatest thing around. He in fact sat down on Breanna as soon as he saw her. (This was unusual.) I also got to see my family and it was lovely to relax and laugh and talk with my aunts, sister,mother, grandmother, uncles and everyone. I think this is the main reason that I would love to live much closer to home. I love Vancouver, but who can beat living where you can be that connected to other people.
