Aidan will have three Advent Calendars this year. My mom sent him one in the mail today. It is very simple scene of Mary and Joseph and the baby Jesus in the stable with assorted animals all around. I put a bulliten board in the hall beside the fridge for Aidan’s calendars and whatever else we might decide to put there. It is hung low so that he can have full use of it. His head comes just to the middle or a little higher. I plan to have all three calendars there.
I think that in January I am going to start doing a calendar time every morning with Aidan. He will learn the day, date and maybe a bit of the schedule. I will see how this goes, but I think he will like having a learning time every morning.
