Menu Plan Monday

I think I am actually in my 5th week of menu planning and I am very happy with my progress. There was only one meal that wasn’t on the plan and that was because I didn’t want to turn on the oven when I forgot to get the roast in the slow-cooker. I am thinking about trying to lose a few pounds and I know that the meal planning will help me. I don’t think that I have already lost any but that is more because of the three and a bit weeks of birthdays, Easter and lots of sugar. I am proud of myself and I think Anthony is pleased because I have not asked him in 4 weeks “What do you want for dinner?” ๐Ÿ™‚ So on to the menu!

Monday: Slow-cooker Roast beef and vegetables. Rolls.

Tuesday: Pasta and a meat sauce. Salad.

Wednesday: Sausages, garlic mashed potatoes.

Thursday: Very Garlicy Slow-cooker chicken. (It sounded so good.)

Friday: Anthony’s Choice. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Saturday: BBQ’d Chicken, baked potatoes, corn.

Sunday: Sweet and Sour Meatballs (Anthony’s domain) rice and veggies. (We are going to try them in the slow-cooker instead of the oven.)

If anyone wants any of the recipes leave me a comment and I will update the post with them. Oh and if anyone has a good recipe for baked beans I would love a link in the comments.

I have no words, or the Toilet Incident

We have cats staying with us and their litter-box is in the upstairs bathroom. This means the door is open. Yesterday Aidan decided to play with the litter after (thank God!) I cleaned the box. Today he did something different. The pictures explain all.

Before you put the Mommy Guilt on me, the camera was on top of the fridge just a few feet away. Toddlers, what will they think of next.

Menu Plan Monday

Ok, I am very late posting this, but I did actually plan on Sunday and went grocery shopping today after I had planned my menu. ๐Ÿ™‚

Monday: Ham, potatoes, vegetables.

Tuesday: Waffles, Leftover Ham

Wednesday: Slow-cooked Hamburger Supper, Salad

Thursday: Slow-cooker Chicken of Some Kind. I am thinking Zesty BBQ Chicken.

Friday: Fish (I need a good recipe.)

Saturday: Beef Kabobs with Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms and Rice

Sunday: Slow Cooked Roast with Vegetables

I really think I am beginning to get the hang of this menu planning thing. ๐Ÿ™‚ I only missed 1 meal last week and the others I only switched around a bit. Thanks Again to Laura for hosting.

Cute, Cuter, Cutest

I have to tell you how cute my boy is.ย  Hendrik came over for a few minutes to drop something off and spendย  few minutes visiting Aidan.ย  As he was going down the stairs he called out “Bye Bye Henwik.”ย  He then said it about three or four times.ย  Aww, the grin on Hendrik’s face nearly split it in two.ย  It was even better than his “Bye, Bye train.”
