Sick Boys

All I have going through my head at the moment is the Social Distortion song “Sick Boy.” You might remember that the drowning of the iPhone this weekend was because of a sick boy. Then last night Anthony was feeling unwell. It was not until 3:30 this morning that Anthony was also a very sick boy. Quinlan was puke free all of Sunday, but after we dropped Aidan at school he was also a sick boy again. A sick boy who cuddled with me until nap time. At 2:00 or so I got a call from Aidan’s school, and guess what? Yes, you have the picture, another sick boy.

Since I don’t want to contemplate what my evening is going to be like, and as to whether we shall be adding a sick girl to the mixture I am leaving you with a youtube video of Social Distortion.I am also embedding Story of My Life which has much better sound.

PS I fully plan on posting on something other than sickness tomorrow.

Post Laundry Depression

I have a first world problem. I am totally jonesing for my iPhone. I feel a little bit twitchy. I haven’t taken an instagram in over 24 hours. I watch with jealously as my husband, who did not launder his iPhone, watches his twitter feed, or takes a picture. All because I got thrown up upon and I forgot for a minute, well 20, about my iPhone.

Tonight I am going to a tweetup without a smart phone. I am also going to a concert with Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer without a smart phone. Anthony will sound witty as he tweets during the event. I will be mute until we get home. No instagrams, or twit pics for me.

Poor Me.

  • Aidan's fever creeping up again. Time for a nap so he can go to piano lessons. #
  • On the upside for today we are working on math facts. Aidan does so much in his head that he just guesses on simple facts. Working 'em out. #

  • How the hell do I prove I wasn't too close? I don't take a picture of my car every time I park. Is the $50 worth my time and aggravation? #
  • If I do win an appeal of the ticket, will the city pay for the towing they cost me? #
