Aidan loves music and we love to encourage it in any way we can and that includes percussion instruments. So here for your visual and listening pleasure are a picture and video of Aidan and his drumming to Guitar Hero with Mommy on bass and Daddy on guitar. You will love it. Only too bad we are not playing Miss Murder and only silly old Slow Ride. Mommy likes Miss Murder much better.

Ok, so that we don’t chicken out or say we are too tired I am making a cleaning schedule for the next two weeks.
Tonight: Friday November 23rd Clean up Master bedroom and closet. Vacuum under the bed, organize desk. This maybe a 2 night process.
Saturday: Clean Living room/ Dining room and vacuum the stairs. Do 1 or 2 loads of laundry. Take out recycling.
Sunday 25 November: Clean Downstairs Hall. Finish Laundry. Clean Master bathroom. Bring up Christmas Boxes.
Monday 26 November: Clean Kitchen.
Tuesday 27 November: Load of Laundry.
Wednesday 28 November: Clean Upstairs Bathroom.
Thursday 29 November:Load of Laundry.
Friday 30 November: Veg.
Saturday 1 December: Clean boy’s room and closet. Take out recycling.
Sunday 2 December: House is clean for Advent.
Monday 3 December: Tidy Kitchen
Tuesday 4 December: Laundry
Wednesday 5 December: Tidy and Vacuum livingroom, dining room and stairs.
Thursday 6 December: Vacuum Hall and bedrooms.
Friday 7 December: Laundry
Saturday 8 December: Geo-caching. Take out recycling.
I will let you know if we fall back into our slovenly ways.
Aidan will have three Advent Calendars this year. My mom sent him one in the mail today. It is very simple scene of Mary and Joseph and the baby Jesus in the stable with assorted animals all around. I put a bulliten board in the hall beside the fridge for Aidan’s calendars and whatever else we might decide to put there. It is hung low so that he can have full use of it. His head comes just to the middle or a little higher. I plan to have all three calendars there.
I think that in January I am going to start doing a calendar time every morning with Aidan. He will learn the day, date and maybe a bit of the schedule. I will see how this goes, but I think he will like having a learning time every morning.
Dear Santa,
My name is Aidan. I am 2 and a 1/2 years old. I live with my Mommy and Daddy in Vancouver. My Mommy is helping me write this letter. I want to know if Santa is reading a book? I love books. My Mommy and Daddy read me stories.
How are you and all the elves and reindeer? I would like would like to hear some stories about the North pole and Santa Claus.
I would like a few things for Christmas. I would like a few books about trains. I would like the sheep in the picture.
