Left Coast Mama

Today I thought I would showcase a couple of pictures from last week and a snapshot from today. Today was Anthony’s first day back at work so the boys and I had some time to start getting back into our routines. After taking our time this morning we went out to the the mundane things like taking out the recycling, getting envelopes for the calendars we are sending back east tomorrow and going to the library.

I love that for my boys going to the library is something that is exciting. They love looking for books and taking the time to check them out with their own library cards. When we got home Aidan almost immediately started reading to his brother without being asked.

Owl

Last week we bundled the boys up and went out to Delta to search out the snowy owls that are roosting there. This guy was squawking and wanting as much attention as possible on the way to the snowy owls. I am not sure exactly what type of owl he (or she) is, but sure was pretty. We also did manage to catch some Snowy owls as well, but they were much further away and I needed a bigger lens. I did manage to get something though.
