Toons For Toddlers

When my kids were babies the only time I got to see any movies was when I went to a movie that was lower in sound and was meant to have babies on your lap. When Quinlan was born none of us went to movies because even if I wanted to take Aidan to a movie it was always too loud and dark. The one movie he went to when he was 4 was too much for him. It was loud and dark and there was no place for him to go to get away from the sound or action.

Luckily for those of you with kids 2-6 there is Toons for Toddlers put on by Movies For Mommies. All the shows are 60 minutes in length and run with reduced theatre sound and dim lighting for a safe and comfortable first movie experience.

As you may have guessed this is a sponsored post. I have taken my boys to a Toons for Toddlers event and I know other parents who have done the same. It is a great way to introduce kids to a movie experience without overwhelming their senses. I have full editorial control over my content and all opinions are my own.
