I haven’t got my advent wreath up from the downstairs storage locker yet so I thought I would light a virtual candle here on my blog. Happy Advent everyone.

I love the movie “White Christmas” and that is part of what inspired the title. The other is the 15 cm of snow we received today and played in. I will let the pictures tell the rest.

Wow! I did it! I posted every day in November. I survived trying to do too many things this month. I survived and actually wrote some decent posts. I was able to juggle taking care of Aidan, guides, choir and all the organization that goes with that. I survived losing our organist to a family emergency. I survived trying to get another organist. I survived getting two instead. I survived typing up the bulliten. I survived the hives and headaches. I actually got my closet clean, though I forgot to take the before picture so I could enter it for the Organizational challenge. Oh well, maybe the next one. I have another post I want to write for later but I just wanted to make sure that I boasted that I finished at least one thing I started this month.
I now have 2 of the three Advent Calendars up. On Saturday Anthony and I will get the Christmas stuff from on top of our storage locker. I know I said we were going to get that done earlier this week, but things have fallen by the wayside a bit. The Advent Carol Service on Sunday has taken a bit more of my time than I thought it was going to. 🙂 Isn’t that always the way. I got the box Advent Calendar idea from Ali Edward’s blog Ae. She has some neat holiday projects. So without further ado here are some pictures of the box and regular Advent calendars. (Notice Aidan couldn’t wait to open some of the numbered flaps.)
