			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last month I joined <a href="http://www.weightwatchers.ca/index.aspx" target="_blank">Weight Watchers</a> again.  Last time I didn&#8217;t join for too long, but I did lose a bit of weight.  Then I had Aidan. I was 235 or there abouts at my heaviest pregnancy weight.  I wasn&#8217;t too concerned and in the week after I had Aidan, a combination of breast feeding  and no sleep plummeted my weight by 35, or 40lbs.   I was able to keep my weight pretty steady until I stopped breastfeeding, then the pounds started to slowly seep back on.  So I made the decision to do something for me; I went back to W.W.   I am still not sure how committed I am except that I am going back to the <a href="http://www.fitcityforwomen.com/" target="_blank">gym </a>as well. I guess that says it as well.  I have to do this.</p>
<p>I have a few goals and  I thought I might as well state them here for all to see and keep me honest.  (Well, I am not going to worry as much when I am vacation, but still I don&#8217;t want to go overboard.)  Goal number one: lose 25 lbs by Christmas. Which means I have 20 or so to go. Not so bad. (As soon as I lose 15 I am giving myself a present of some <a href="http://www.lululemon.com/products/womens/bottoms/pants/reverse_groove_pant" target="_blank">Lululemon</a> yoga pants.)    Goal number two: go to the gym at least three times a week.  Goal number three: ultimate weight goal of 165 lbs.   All goals I think I can realistically achieve with some work. Now all I have to do is stop craving all that junk food. <img src='http://leftcoastmama.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>This week I am trying again to not only plan the suppers but lunches and breakfasts as well.  The breakfast and lunches on most days will only be for me, but I am really trying to lose some weight.  If I want to actually make my goal of 25 lbs by Christmas I actually have to get off my butt and make it happen. Hence the full time menu planning.  I won&#8217;t put all the measurements on this post because I am also trying to plan for my husband as well and somehow men have better metabolisms than women.  Sucks doesn&#8217;t it. <img src='http://leftcoastmama.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Last week went well and I think we only had one substitution day.  I am hoping to do as well this week, with some better choices for snacks.</p>
<p><strong>Monday: B -&gt;</strong>scrambled egg, tea, plum, 1 cup 1%milk, 1 piece toast<strong>   L -&gt;</strong>Raw Carrots, Celery, Garlic Cesar dressing (2 tablespoons)  <strong>S-&gt;</strong> Lean Hamburgers, salad <strong>Snacks -&gt;</strong> Berries, low fat cool whip,  crystal light, raw veggies</p>
<p><strong>Tuesday: B-&gt;</strong> 1 cup Shreddies, 1 cup Berries, tea, milk  <strong>L -&gt; </strong>Salad, soup, Crystal Light  <strong>S -&gt;</strong> Pot Roast, with Carrots, Potatoes, Corn  <strong>Snacks -&gt;</strong>  Berries, low fat cool whip,  crystal light, raw veggies</p>
<p><strong>Wednesday: B -&gt; </strong>Fruit Salad  (Plum, Melon, blueberries) Yogurt, Tea  <strong>L-&gt; </strong>Spinach Salad with boiled egg and Avocado, <strong>S -&gt;</strong> Baked Potatoes, Steamed Veggies and Grilled Tandoori Chicken</p>
<p><strong>Thursday: B -&gt;</strong> Wheetabix, berries, 1 cup milk, tea, <strong>L -&gt; </strong>Red Bell Pepper stuffed with tuna, celery, green onion, shredded carrot, mayo, Dijon mustard  <strong>S -&gt; </strong>Steak grilled with Montreal Steak Spice, steamed veggies and Skinny mashed potatoes <strong>Snacks -&gt;</strong> plums and yogurt</p>
<p><strong>Friday: B -&gt;</strong> cream of wheat with 2 tbsp brown sugar, yogurt,  tea <strong>L -&gt;  </strong>Potato Dill Foccacia <strong>S -&gt; </strong>Whole wheat Pasta with roasted veggies</p>
<p><strong>Saturday: B -&gt;</strong> Pancakes, poached eggs  <strong>L -&gt; </strong>Pita Bread sandwiches with cold cuts, lettuce and sprouts  <strong>S -&gt; </strong>Anthony will figure out <img src='http://leftcoastmama.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><strong>Sunday:</strong> Catch up day. Unplanned.</p>

<p> This week I  started Weight Watchers after I had planned all my suppers.  While things were pretty much on schedule for the suppers (except for the Lasagne which was postponed till this week because I forgot a key ingredient) I don&#8217;t think the diet itself went so well.  This week to change this I have included breakfasts and lunches for me.  I have also added a list of snacks I will keep around so to help with the munchies in the afternoon.</p>
<p>So on to the menus:</p>
<p><strong>Monday: </strong>Breakfast &#8211; Weetabix, tea, 1 cup 1% milk,  Lunch &#8211; Ham Sandwich, raw veggies  Supper: Hamburgers, Salad</p>
<p><strong>Tuesday</strong>: Breakfast &#8211; Cream of Wheat, Tea, milk, fruit  Lunch &#8211; sandwich, raw veggies  Supper: Spaghetti, Meat sauce, Bread</p>
<p><strong> Wednesday</strong>:  Breakfast &#8211; Cereal, tea, milk,  Lunch &#8211; Soup, bread  Supper &#8211; BBQ Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Corn</p>
<p><strong>Thursday:</strong>  Breakfast &#8211; Weetabix, Tea, Milk, Fruit  Lunch &#8211; Sandwich, veggies  Supper &#8211; Steak, Baked potatoes, Cauliflower</p>
<p><strong>Friday: </strong> Breakfast &#8211; Toast, Tea, Milk, Banana  Lunch &#8211; Soup, Crackers  Supper &#8211; Fish and Chips (Nana gets in!!)</p>
<p><strong>Saturday:</strong>  Brunch &#8211; Pancakes, Bacon, Eggs  Supper &#8211; Lasagne, Bread, Salad</p>

<p><strong>Snacks to Have Around: </strong></p>

<p>Small Oranges, Grapes, Watermelon</p>
<p>On Friday evening my Mother is coming in from Nova Scotia.  I am so excited and  I can&#8217;t wait to have some time to myself as Nana takes care of Aidan.  I fully plan to go get my haircut during the week.  How decadent is that!  So I am unsure if I will be planning next week or not.   We will see.  Have a great week everyone!</p>
