I've been looking for a pair of boots for at least 10 years. I can never find a pair that I really like or that are comfortable for a long time or will zip up my leg without squeezing the life out of it. A hundred years ago when we had money (thanks so much recession) I had a pair of Fluevogs. They're such great shoes. I'm not in a situation where I could afford both Fluevogs and the conference (I haven't given up hope for the conference yet) but if you can swing it there's no doubt that you'll enjoy the boots. For the price I think you should buy them only if you really love them. PS. I commented and tweeted the other post already.
